FAQs
Do boiler shells need registration in Canada?
Yes. Boilers and their pressure parts must have a Canadian Registration Number (CRN) in the province or territory where they are installed, under CSA B51. We prepare the design and fabrication records the registration requires.
What materials are used for boiler shells?
Pressure-vessel quality carbon steel plate such as SA-516 Grade 70 is common, selected by the designer for the pressure, temperature and code of construction.
Who manufactures the parts?
Parts are manufactured within the Ferrokshar Group, in production since 1997. Engineering, project management and on-site support are handled by our team in Toronto, ON.
Who do I deal with?
Our engineering team is your single point of contact, from quote to delivery and after-sales service.
