CNC Brake Press Forming
Accurate, repeatable bends in sheet and plate on CNC press brakes.
- Process
- CNC press brake with back gauge
- Typical angle tolerance
- ± 0.5°
- Inside radius
- About 1 × thickness minimum in mild steel
- General tolerance
- ISO 2768-m unless the drawing states otherwise
Overview
Programmable press brakes bend, fold and form sheet and plate into channels, angles, enclosures and complex multi-bend parts. Bend allowances are calculated before cutting so formed parts fit first time, every time.
Our capabilities
- 01Angles, channels and Z-sections
- 02Multi-bend enclosures and cabinet parts
- 03Long bends for structural members
- 04Hemming and offset bends
- 05Back-gauge controlled repeatability
- 06Bend sequence simulation before production

FAQs
What is the minimum bend radius?
It depends on the material grade and thickness. As a guide, inside bend radius is usually at least equal to material thickness for mild steel, and larger for harder grades and aluminum alloys.
Who manufactures the parts?
Parts are manufactured within the Ferrokshar Group, in production since 1997. Engineering, project management and on-site support are handled by our team in Toronto, ON.
Who do I deal with?
Our engineering team is your single point of contact, from quote to delivery and after-sales service.
